The Division of Law and Policy Reform drives comprehensive legislative transformations, overseeing everything from strategic program planning and budgeting to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
Core Responsibilities of the Division
* Legislative Review: Analyze statutory drafts and existing laws to eradicate violence against women and promote female human rights.
* Constitutional Harmonization: Conduct formal and material reviews of regulations—including regional bylaws—to align them with the constitution and relevant human rights instruments.
* International Human Rights Integration: Evaluate international treaties, UN special rapporteur reports, and expert guidelines to inform domestic policies.
* Constructive Stakeholder Dialogue: Engage national legislative and executive decision-makers to champion protective legal frameworks.

Role Overview & Key Duties
As the National Policy Analysis and Advocacy Assistant Coordinator, you will spearhead research, evaluate policies, and drive national-level legislative advocacy.
* Assist the Division Coordinator in formulating policy recommendations and conducting national regulatory assessments.
* Drive lobbying and women’s human rights advocacy efforts nationwide.
* Develop comprehensive work plans and annual budgets for division programs.
* Draft terms of reference (TOR), budget proposals, and precise activity reports.
* Map key stakeholders to strengthen national advocacy networks.
* Document meeting proceedings and facilitate cross-divisional communication.
* Represent the commission in strategic dialogues with judicial, legislative, executive, and civil society partners.
Candidate Qualifications
* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Law or Social Sciences.
* At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
* Proven expertise in quantitative-qualitative policy analysis focusing on national human rights issues.
* Deep commitment to victim-centered justice principles and strict confidentiality.
