## A History of Industrial Growth
As production demands grew beyond the capacity of its initial Jakarta facility, the company inaugurated its first full-scale factory in Tangerang. By 1980, the business transitioned into a formal limited liability company (PT) under the name PT. Sumber Makmur Bahagia. To support continued expansion, a larger manufacturing hub was established in the Jatake industrial area of Tangerang.
Throughout the 1980s, the company prioritized customer service and accessibility by launching its first regional branch in Bandung, followed by strategic expansions into Surabaya, Cirebon, Semarang, and various locations across the Indonesian archipelago. Recognizing the need for a modern identity in the face of global market competition, the company officially rebranded to PT. SEIV Indonesia in 2013.
