## Position Overview: Production Engineer
To support ongoing operational expansion and uphold rigorous quality standards, PT Daisho Precision is seeking a skilled and proactive Production Engineer. This key technical role focuses on optimizing manufacturing workflows, driving continuous process improvement, and maintaining peak machine operational readiness.
## Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Production Planning & Scheduling: Design detailed operational schedules and establish systematic machine preventive maintenance plans to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
* Operational Supervision: Monitor, evaluate, and direct daily manufacturing output to guarantee key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational targets are consistently met.
* Process Optimization: Analyze workflow efficiency, eliminate production bottlenecks, and formulate actionable strategy plans to enhance plant productivity.
* Standard Operating Procedures: Develop, review, and modernize detailed Work Instructions and technical parameter guidelines across all production lines.
* Problem Resolution: Perform structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on operational failures or product defects, implementing immediate corrective and preventive measures.
* Performance Reporting: Generate insightful analytical reports detailing plant output, capacity utilization, and process improvement recommendations.
* Quality & Safety Compliance: Guarantee that all manufacturing activities align strictly with company standards, quality benchmarks, and health protocols.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate efficiently with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain departments to streamline daily operations.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
* Educational Background: Hold at least an Associate Degree (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
* Professional Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Production Engineer within the manufacturing sector.
* Management Systems: Demonstrable knowledge and working understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) standards.
* Methodology Expertise: Proven track record in implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or 5S methodologies.
* Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of metal manufacturing processes, machinery operations, and basic industrial maintenance protocols.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking capability with expert-level proficiency in Root Cause Analysis tools and data-driven problem-solving.
