Currently, Microsoft Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the team as a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician (Logistics Specialist). This role is critical to maintaining the operational integrity of our high-scale data centers.
## Core Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the seamless execution of logistics and asset management protocols. Key duties include:
* Safety and Security Compliance: Adhere strictly to data management and security policies, proactively escalating incidents and coordinating with security personnel for third-party vendors.
* Logistics Management: Manage the end-to-end process of inbound and outbound deliveries, including purchase order receiving, rack movement, and ensuring accurate customs documentation.
* Inventory Stewardship: Maintain logical accuracy across configuration databases and asset management repositories. Perform routine cycle audits, data corrections, and regulatory compliance checks.
* Warranty and RMA Processing: Oversee the warranty claim lifecycle, including the processing of failed hardware, packaging, and shipment in alignment with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
* Data Bearing Device (DBD) Destruction: Execute the secure destruction of data-bearing devices in strict accordance with corporate policies and verification protocols.
* Operational Excellence: Support procurement by monitoring stock levels and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal operational methodologies.
## Required Qualifications
To ensure the highest standards of service, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree combined with at least one year of experience in warehouse management, supply chain, retail, or IT-related inventory environments. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
